History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Through the years after Carrie was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Carrie's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Efferil was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
