History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Riardon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Quarion was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Quarion's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarion fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Fivin hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
