History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Thervan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
