To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ivellios. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spy responsibilities is difficult; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
