History: He was born in the north. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Berrian grew up listening to his father's many stories. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
