The war was a terrible time for him, and Paelias does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Paelias was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Adventurer. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
