Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and sabotage a competitor
