Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arannis studied abroad. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is obsessed with his god.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Spy, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his broad black hat.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has decided he is irredeemable
