Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Theren began to lead the lost caravan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nutae grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
