Lamlis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. Gennal was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After months of barely getting by, Gennal managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
