History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nutae grew up listening to his mother's many stories. History: Halimath was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arannis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arannis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
