History: Naill was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Naill alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Paelias liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: The child of a Assassin, who enjoyed hunting, Aelar was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. A true patriot, Theriatis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theriatis studied abroad. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Theriatis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and a deep hatred of dire rats
