History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Rael has worked very hard to control his curse. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Detective kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is typically in his Bookbinder uniform. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now owns his own business.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a worn and beaten armor. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He got into the Healer business at a young age. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
