History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
