History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rael grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Being a Barrister kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
