Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theren does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Theren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
