Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born in a small forest village. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
