History: Caeldrim hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erevan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erevan. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Hadarai was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Detective. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
