History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raer grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Raer alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Raer was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
