Paelias was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cook. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Vanuath lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Bellfounder. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second son.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and he wants revenge against drow
