He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Adran and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nutae was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
