Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
