He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the west. Dayereth was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Map Maker. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Soveliss was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Soveliss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He struck the Blacksmith job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to pay off his debts

History: He was born in the west. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business
