Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. His first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Sailor mother left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he has money and likes to spend it

His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
