History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He is an epitome of beauty. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 52. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a blue vest and prefers tan and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has shaved his head bald. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Peren is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
