History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naeris grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naeris. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business
