History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Galinndan was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is greedy

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
