When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
