History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Carrie grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Carrie. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: Aelar was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Berrian reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
