He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. After months of barely getting by, Hadarai managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Efferil embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Efferil was born the youngest of three triplets. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Heian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a rapier on his belt and is in decent physical shape. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Lucan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
