History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
