His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aust grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aust fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by giants. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
