His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mindartis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Nim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
