History: Vanuath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vanuath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vanuath. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
