History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants revenge against illithids

History: Heian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Crown-heir kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
