Description: This younger middle-aged man is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Varis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Healer for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is a Mayor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Erevan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Mindartis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
