History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Mindartis was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

History: Laucian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
