Gennal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Arannis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
