Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to be a brewer again

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
