History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a Weaver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gennal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
