History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halimath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and many drow want him driven away

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Ivellios was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud

He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a yellow scarf. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Efferil learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and further expansion of business

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his whip, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has blue eyes and a violet hat with a black feather.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Born in the south to a Glassblower, Raer learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Raer liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new glassblower responsibilities is difficult
