Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the east to a Armorer, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Armorer for hire.
