Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nutae has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
