History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Heian was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Assassin. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Fletcher job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
