History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aerdeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Berrian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
