His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Aelar was a troubled youth.
