History: Aelar was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raer lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
