Through the years after Aelar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aelar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Lucan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Lucan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lucan decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
