History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is a Fortune-teller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Lamlis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
