History: Berrian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Nutae was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dyer. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
